The administration of knowledge is always an act of violence. It rends asunder the carefully crafted web of illusions which have been created for us and which we have spend our lives supporting and protecting.

The gift of knowledge is an eruption no less significant than the emergence of a child from the womb. It is delicate, frail, and full of potential. And like a child it must be tended to and cared for, or it will wither and perish.

Treat knowledge with care and dispense it liberally to those who are prepared to receive it, and yield it sparingly to those not yet strong enough to accept it. Like one does not give meat to an infant, so to, one must not force knowledge upon another who in incapable of digesting it.

Be patient, be kind, and above all else, remember this: when you give the gift of your knowledge, never forget what it took to get you to this point. Never forget the pain and suffering you underwent as a result of abandoning old precepts and ideas for those that bear greater fruit and a broader scope of illumination. But above all else, remember this: all you knew before you have either revised, rejected, or reviled. So to, what you know now may become as what you once knew to be true before.

Be loving, and be kind. This will be the sound foundation upon which all the knowledge you dispense can constructively be build to bring yourself and those for whom you care, to greater heights of wisdom and understanding.
